 How It Works

1. Identify your nurse/s, their employer, and the category you intend to nominate in.
   
2. Submit your meaningful nomination using the link above. Be sure to include details about how the nurse/s impacted you or your loved one's life.
   
3. DNA's Committee on Recognition reviews nominations monthly and selects those that will be awarded.
   
4. DNA contacts the employer using the information provided by you and arranges for presentation of the award, either at the nurse's work or during our annual Delaware DAISY Gala.

We want to support you in the recognition of your extraordinary nurses, no strings attached! We are passionate about recognizing nurses in all settings because we know that it benefits all involved. 

We encourage all Delaware employers to partner directly with The DAISY Foundation to recognize even more extraordinary nurses. The DAISY Foundation works with employers of all sizes and provides resources to get your DAISY recognition program off the ground.
