Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Compact in Delaware
The APRN Compact was reviewed and adopted by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) on August 12, 2020. This compact allows an APRN to hold one multistate license with a privilege to practice in other compact states.

The APRN Compact in Delaware
Legislation to enact the APRN Compact in Delaware was officially introduced into the 151st General Assembly on December 4, 2020 by primary sponsor, Representative Melissa Minor-Brown, MSN, RN. House Bill 21, An Act to Amend Title 24 of the Delaware Code Relating to an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Compact is available for review by all.
The Delaware Nurses Association Advocacy Committee and Board of Directors both agreed that DNA would support this legislation. On January 10, 2021, the following position statement was sent to all sponsors of House Bill 21 and the Executive Director of the Delaware Board of Nursing.
